INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Your new cover comes with a protective liner; do not remove liner until prompted by instructions. 

This new stainless cover has been designed to add a little custom look to an area that up until now has been overlooked by all other custom stainless manufacturers.

1. The first and most important step in installing a part like this is preparation. Using a paper towel thoroughly scrub clean the entire surface area to be mounted first with alcohol to remove any and all road grime and dirt.

2.  Apply a small length of masking tape to the cleaned area to see if you have achieved a tack. If so proceed to apply the adhesive prompter provided to the entire surface. This will insure a long lasting bond.

3.  IMPORTANT! Before you permanently attach any of the four sections you will need to pre shape them by hand in order to achieve a nice contoured fit. This is extremely important in order to be confident that your installation will stay put and look good long term. The stainless is 20GA thick and you will be able to gently twist and roll the flat panels into a perfect contour. If you think about this for a moment , metal will not bend itself out of place so if you pre shape the sections perfectly PRIOR to installation you can expect the parts to stay just the way you have made them and they will not pop up out of place down the road.

4. Once you have achieved a nice contoured fit simply peel the red release liner from the back of each of the sections and then carefully set them into position. Press the sections firmly along the entire surface to set.

5. You have been provided with a length of chrome trim. This trim will tie the two lower sections to gather very nicely and can by sliced very easily if you should ever need to accesses the underside of the wiper cowl. Peel a small length of the red release liner from the back of the trim and then press it into place as you pull the liner from behind and work your way along the entire length. Cut away any excess trim with a scissor or razor blade. Then remove the protective liner from the covers surface to finish the installation.
